Charlotte Milchard (born 13 December 1977) is a British actress who has received critical acclaim for her stage performances.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

Biography

Milchard was born in Barking, England on 13 December 1977, but spent the early years of her childhood living in Asia when her father's work as a scientist led the family to travelling the majority of the world, starting in Asia.[8] She graduated from the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in 2000 which is Britain's oldest independent theatre arts training school, founded in 1911 by actress Italia Conti (Italia Emily Stella Conti, 1873–1946).[9]

Film career

She has also appeared in several films, most notably The Fourth Kind, with Milla Jovovich, Elias Koteas and Will Patton for Universal Pictures and Gold Circle Films. The film was a moderate box office success, earning over US $46 million worldwide.[10]

She also stars in Mindflesh,[11] a film based on the novel White Light, by William Scheinman.[12] It received critical acclaim and won Best Horror at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival,[13][14] but failed to achieve general release.
